Segmentation Fault

Hi Managers,

I have a box E420r solaris 8 with various application on it. The
problem appears when trying to do vi, it says,

Out of memory
Segmentation Fault

When I check memory, /tmp, swap, etc. everything look fine. I have to
do a reboot, then the problem going away for a while, then it comes
back again. It's getting worse that I have to reboot once or twice a
day now!

I did increase the maxusers in /etc/system. What is the real problem
here? What should I do?
