v480 hardware upgrade

This seems like it would have a quick answer, but I haven't been able to find
any definite information. I'm rather new to Sun hardware, so I'm not going
to assume what I think would be an obvious answer.

Can I take a CPU/Memory module out of a v480 and put it in another v480 to
fully populate it, given that it would be equivalent hardware (Same CPU
speeds, etc). In other words, for the sake of clarity:
V480-1 == 2-900MHz CPU's/4GB RAM
V480-2 == 2-900MHz CPU's/4GB RAM
can I use this and create:
v480-1 == 4-900MHz CPU's/8GB RAM
v480-2 == (spare parts, or whatever)

I would think the answer is obvious, but recent quotes from Sun price the
upgrade CPU/Memory module as being more expensive than a whole new machine...

I will summarize.

Thanks,
-Justin
