Hi
When I issue the following command on my TEST Solaris 8 machine the find
command hangs and creates a core dump file.
find /somepath /*/oradata/dbpath -name '*dbfile*.*' -print
but when I replaced the * for u*
find /somepath /u*/oradate/dbpath -name '*dbfile*.*' -print
works just fine.
I noticed this happening, after I applied the May 3rd 8_Recommended
patch cluster.
am I the only experience this.
