Hi all,

trying to find more information on VERY low level
details of filesystems, specifically UFS and VxFS.

I have read, and understand the following man pages:
inode(4), mkfs(1m), etc. I have also read pertinent
sections of multiple books, but none take me deep enough.

I am looking for information on the level that would
help me answer questions like:

-how do you stat an inode to find all information contained,
 especially data block pointers
-how do UFS and VxFS physical allocation strategies differ
-etc

any links or any pointers to good books are appeciated!
