cpqncr driver update and lomempages

Hey.

We're running Sol 2.7 x86 on Compaq hardware and a while back there was a
patch for the Solaris 2.7 installs for the fast/wide scsi drivers,
OS0307CPQ, which installed a new cpqncr driver to work better w/ the
Mammoth II drives. One of the install suggestions my company used was to
add a /etc/system command:
set lomempages=200
if there was an initialize failure for the driver on reboot. The default
lomempages is 36, so the jump to 200 is fairly large and the only drivers
I could find suggested jumps of 9 or 10 pages (a NIC driver).

I gather low mem is a little scarce to start w/, so it seems it might be a
bigger concern to waste it, performance-wise, but I can't find much in the
way of docs/info on lomempages and nothing on effects for performance.

Any hints?
