Hi,
I'm trying to use sendmail to send outgoing messages to a relay mail server using SMTP. I've got this same configuration working on a RH 7.1 with no problems. I made all the changes in sendmail.cf :
# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DSmail.somedomain.com
OResolverOptions=-DNSRCH
HoldExpensive=True
Mrelay, P=[IPC], F=emDFMuXa8, ..........
and the rules for S11 and S31:
R$- $@ $1@somedomain.com
R$- $+ $1
R$- $@ $1@somedomain.com
everything seems to be fine except that when I attempt to send a message to a domain that is an Apache virtual host in this box the sendmail sees the user as local and do not send the message to the relay server. As I said this exact same configuraration works in Linux.
Any hint is greatly appreciated.
