Disksuite on an e250

Hi,

So i have an e250 running Solaris 8. I god disksuite working a while ago.
and today i thought it might be a good idea to get the OBP aliases up and
running

so i did the following @ the obp:
/usr/sbin/eeprom "boot-device=disk disk_mirror"
/usr/sbin/eeprom "use-nvramrc?=true"
/usr/sbin/eeprom "nvramrc=devalias disk_mirror
/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/disk@8,0:a"

So then it was time to test things out. I shutdown the server down and
removed drive 0 and left drive 1 in.

So the obp went looking for disk and didn't find it, then it went looking
for disk_mirror(which is disk 1) and found it.

So that was pretty neat but things kinda broke down after that.

Solaris/Disksuite was complaining about a missing metadatabase and started
up with disk 1(disk_mirror) in read only mode.

I'm wondering what step I'm missing?

Thanks

Karl
