Hi,
We have SCEPTRE X7 KODOMO 17" LCD Monitor on Sparc-20 with SunOS 4.1.3_U1VB
(with cgsix drivers). This is output from dmesg:
cgsix0 at SBus slot 2 0x0 pri 9 (sbus level 5)
cgsix0: screen 1152x900, single buffered, 1M mappable, rev 11
cgsix0 at SBus slot 2 0x0 pri 9 (sbus level 5)
cgsix0: screen 1152x900, single buffered, 1M mappable, rev 11
cgsix0 at SBus slot 2 0x0 pri 9 (sbus level 5)
cgsix0: screen 1152x900, single buffered, 1M mappable, rev 11
There is no Verical Size adjustment for this monitor. And I get some
graphics portions chopped off such a way that I do not see CDE panel. If I
tried Vertical Position adjustment then I get back CDE panel, but I loose
some top portion. So I tried manually setting resolution at Ok prompt as
follows:
setenv output-device screen:r1280x1024
reset
I get series of "Stack overflow" messages as soon reset is done.
The following commands also produced same results:
setenv output-device screen:r1280x1024x60
setenv output-device screen:r1280x1024@60
setenv output-device screen:r1280x1024x75
setenv output-device screen:r1280x1024x70
setenv output-device screen:r1152x900
setenv output-device screen:r1152x900x60
setenv output-device screen:r1152x900x66
setenv output-device screen:r1152x900x75
Only way to get back to boot sequence is to define "setenv output-device
screen".
