Oh mighty Sun Gurus:
I am trying to make a package using pkgmk. The package when
installed needs to
overwrite older files that are already in place, but it needs to backup the
original file so that
the file can be replaced during a pkgrm. I have noticed that when I do the
pkgadd it creates
a /var/sadm/<pkgname>/save file, How do I get it to backup the files during
the pkgadd and
to replace them during the pkgrm?
