Hi there,
While this is definitely possible, it wouldn't account for people thatuse tethering over their phone using Bluetooth + GPRS/EV-DO/etc. Thereason for this is that the modems are only installed temporarily, andyour scan could potentially miss them.
Perhaps a better strategy would be to target the drivers themselves:prevent people from installing drivers for their CDMA phones, etc. Idon't know if there is a feature on Windows to support thisdomain-wide, but there probably is in light of some companies thatdisable use of USB Mass Storage drivers to protect potential datatheft.
