I 'm seeking about a tool which shows me all the machines that have a
modem installed. We have a windows network (windows 2003 – windows XP)
and we would like to make sure that there are no any modems used
inside the network.
We found some cases that the users used him phone mobile to get access
to the internet to him PC through GPRS. They pass all the security
mechanisms that we implement in order to secure the access to the
internet.
So, are there any tools which can scan the machines and show a report
with all the modems that installed on the machines?
I find a tool which try to find the modem by dialing all the
organization's phone numbers, that wouldn't help. I'm looking for
tools that bring all the installed modems by looking at the "Network
Connections" on the machine.
