Subject: Skype vulnerability or feature

Hi,

I was fiddling a little bit with Skype when I discovered that I could
login at the same time from two different terminals unlike other
messengers such as MSN. In such a scenario if someone gets hold of
your skype identity you would never know and he might just successfuly
abuse your account again and again.

Other things that I noticed were that an attacker would be able to
accept calls directed to the authentic user. For e.g. the ring comes
on both the terminals the user who accepts the call first get access
while the second one gets missed call notification.

I've not tested another issue thoroughly but once I was also able to
get the text communnications simultaneously on both the terminals.
This could be a serious issue if I could test that again.

Last thing, does Skype know about this? I'll be surprised if they
don't. What do people feel on the list about this? Did Skype introduce
this as a feature? If yes, then I would say probably its a bad
feature.

Looking forward to some discussion/light on this topic.

Thanx.
