Hi all
Occasional ftp disconnects happen on our Itanium
servers, even though HP11V2 is updated to bundle
level September 2006 on all these servers.
The other day it happened between two such servers
sitting on the same subnet.
Ovcer 2½ hours 370 gigabytes of the 499 gigabytes
file were successfully transmitted, when apparently
the connection terminated with the cryptic message
'netin: Connection reset by peer' seen below.
Does anyone have an explanation, or a circumvention?
Is this a bug resolved in the March 2007 bundle for HP11V2?
Yours sincerely
