[HPADM] RE: HP-UX Device Files changing during reboots

Yesterday I switched the kernel configuration so that the ATDD device driver
was loaded statically.
I was able to reboot the server 5 times and all the devices remained the same
across all boots.

I have this problem also, and since Data Protector now has a
serial number parm, it seems to be a "Known problem".

If you find a way to prevent the switches, please tell me or
write a summary.
