[HPADM] finger: error STATing /dev/tty*

Hi all,

Has any body come across the following problem?
When I run finger, it returns with error similar to the following:

finger: error STATing /dev/ttyy0

# who | grep ttyy0
quaecbc ttyy0 Nov 14 10:23

Of course /dev/ttyy0 doesn't exist. I found it under /dev/pty:
# ll /dev/pty/ttyy0
crw--w---- 1 quaecbc tty 17 0x000090 Nov 14 10:27 /dev/pty/ttyy0
