[HPADM] Rebuilding /etc/lvmtab on an inactive cluster node

I've got a problem with one node in an MC/ServiceGuard cluster. Somehow
the hardware path changed to the disk and /etc/lvmtab is incorrect now.
This is a cluster that's managed by another member of my team and I
haven't dealt with MC/ServiceGuard for a very long time so I need some
help.

I tried running "vgscan -a" to rebuilt /etc/lvmtab, but the results
still used the old path (c18tXdX, the new path is c16txdx). Is this
because those volumes are currently activated on the other node?

How can I rebuild /etc/lvmtab on the inactive node? Should I bring down
the other node and then try? Help!
