hy people,
I have a little lvm problem, i was adding a disk to a vg with vgextend, and
i had the following error:
vgextend vgscor /dev/dsk/c37t0d4 /dev/dsk/c36t0d4
Current path "/dev/dsk/c25t0d7" is an alternate link, skip.
Current path "/dev/dsk/c25t1d0" is an alternate link, skip.
Current path "/dev/dsk/c25t1d1" is an alternate link, skip.

Current path "/dev/dsk/c24t0d5" is an alternate link, skip.
Current path "/dev/dsk/c24t0d6" is an alternate link, skip.
Current path "/dev/dsk/c36t0d3" is an alternate link, skip.
Current path "/dev/dsk/c36t0d2" is an alternate link, skip.
Current path "/dev/dsk/c25t0d2" is an alternate link, skip.
vgextend: Couldn't install the physical volume "/dev/dsk/c36t0d4".
Device busy
vgextend: Physical volume "/dev/dsk/c36t0d4" could not be deleted from the
"/etc/lvmtab" file.
There is now an inconsistency between the LVM device driver
and the "/etc/lvmtab" file.
vgextend: Couldn't install the physical volume "/dev/dsk/c36t0d4".
Device busy
wep:/# vgreduce vgscor /dev/dsk/c37t0d4
vgreduce: Couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c37t0d4":
The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to
this volume group.
i dont now why the disk was active and it didnt get added to the vg, but it
was introduced in the /etc/lvmtab
