UNIX SAs:

Please help. Does anyone have a script to run a cksum
on a file and send an e-mail only if there is a diff
in the results from the present and previous values?
It would be most useful for me at this time.

I want to run a cksum on /etc/inittab. I want to be
notified if the previous cksum result did not match
the one which was more recent. If you have a similar
script please send it to me. I intend to put it in
crontab and send myself an e-mail in the event of a
change.

Thanks a billion in advance.
NEIL
