Add "-u 111" to the ftpd startup in your inetd.conf file. Ex:
ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/lbin/ftpd ftpd -l -u 111

OK, I am having one of THOSE days. How do I set the umask on a user's
log-in so that when they FTP files to this server the permissions are set to
rw-rw-rw- ???
I know this is easy - I am being stupid today!!
