Hello all,
first sorry for previous summary. Below you'll find few good answers:
The main commands used in setting up new logical volumes:
pvcreate - Prepares a disk for volume group (VG) membership
vgcreate - Creates a VG. (A group of disks.)
lvcreate - Divides the VG into logical volumes (LVs) (concept similar to
disk slicing except you are dividing the VG rather than individual
disks.)
Related commands that aren't part of LVM itself:
newfs - Sets up a filesystem on the LV. (I'd make sure that
/etc/default/fs has "vxfs" as the default filesystem type rather than
"hfs".)
mount - Mounts the filesystem.
