The drive is a HP replacement part (made by Seagate for HP).

I will try this LIF suggestion and report back.

dd if=/usr/lib/uxbootlf of=/dev/(newdisk) bs=2k

If that dosent work, I will try this suggestion:

lifls /dev/rdsk/cxtydz (on the good boot disk)
