Hi admins

we have a performances problem with an oracle database. This problem came
suddenly since the last reboot of the server on last monday morning.
A batch processing which took about 30 min take now about 4 hours !!! This
batch is only reading all the daily TP to extract data and send them to
another server.

I have search for un disk problem but this not the case. The file system is
alone in a volume group and is mirrored with lvm.
There is no SCSI error msg, STM say all hardware is correct.
The 2 disks (primary and mirror) have a service rate of 100% during the 4
hours of batch. Amazing !!!

The dba's say that nothing has been modified in the request. Nothing has
been modified on the system (no patches etc ...).

HP doesn't find any reason of this sudden strange behaviour.

The server is a N4000, HP-UX 11.00 64bit. There is no swap at all.

Have you ever faced to such a problem ? Or do you have any ideas where to
look for a piece of explication ?

tia

regards
