Hello list,
Better remove the "binary" word, this is unlikely to work.
I'm looking for a response if someone actually did the move RISC to Itanium and what kind of procedure was necessary to accomplish. ( re-compile the sources, reconvert the data, etc ).

Subject: [hpadm] Binary Compatibility when moving from PA-RISC to Itanium
Hello list,
Is there binary compatibility which make my existing applications run if we move them from HP 9000 PA-RISC machines with HP-UX 11.0 and 10.20 to the new HP Integrity servers based on Itanium processors and running HP-UX 11i v2 ?
Have you already done something like this ?
How was the experience ?
Thanks in advance,
javier
