Hello,

one of our HP-UX 10.20 (C3000) machines did not reboot after a
power-failure.

The LCD display shows the error-code "FLT B800".
I have no access to this computer, so I have only little information.

booting from the ISL Menu is not possible.
"hpux -iS" (single user mode) fails
  "hpux /stand/vmunix.prev" (previous kernel) fails
"hpux ls" shows the previous kernel version (vmunix.prev)

the boot process keeps on starting over and over again.

some reported error messages
"system panic"
"all Vfs_mountroots failed"

as I have no access to this computer I have to rely on the reports of the
user.

Maybe a harddisk error?
Do you have any ideas what else I coud try to find out what is "broken"?

Thank you very much for your help

Andreas Fischer
