Hi admins,
i wiuld like to include in a make_recovery tape a filesystem which doesn't
belong to root vg.
I have added the following line in /var/opt/ignite/recovery/makrec.append:
** User Data **
dir /my_directory/
When i run make_recovery -A -v -p -d /dev/rmt/0m, i receive the following
message:
***************************************
HP-UX System Recovery
Validating append file
Validate dir "/my_directory/
make_recovery(436): /my_directory/ is not in the root volume group/disk.
Cannot add.
Done
make_recovery(222): Append file validation failed
make_recovery(228): make_recovery(1M) encountered a fatal error.
make_recovery(230): Please fix errors and re-try.
Cleanup
Is it possible to include a user directory on a ignite tape ? If yes, has
somebody the "how-to" ?
tia
rgds,
