[HPADM] RE: -SUMMARY- maxfiles and maxfiles_lim for Oracle 9i

Thanks for the responses and sorry for the delay in the summary as I was
trying to get more information from our DBA as to how he determined this
parameter setting. The general consensus is that this seemed quite large.
Most people said they were running large databases with this parameter set
to either 1024 or 2048. I ask our DBA to do a little more research on this.
