Hi Admins,
I know this is not the forum for this mail, but i was hoping to find some hints and pointers for the problem we are having with sendmail.
1. /var/spool/mqueue has over 6000 files is this ok?
2. some of the qf* files that i opened had an error like MDeferred <mail server> rejected. Is this some configuration problem, our exchange server seems to be working fine.
3. when i tried to send a mail with its ID using
"sendmail -M -v <mailID> address" it showed some errors at certain lines in the sendmail.cf file. The error was " replacement out of bounds " , we recently migrated to a new domain and the sendmail.cf was edited to take care of this.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
