Hello all,
Just i want to know is there any bug in libc in hpux11.23(itanium processor). and steps
to build tcpdump with ipv6 in HPUX11.23.
(NOTE- i built sucessfully libpcap with ipv6)
But while trying to build tcpdump with ipv6 option,
i got the error as
# ./configure --enable-ipv6
:
checking whether to enable ipv6... yes
checking ipv6 stack type... linux-libinet6
You do not have inet6 library, using libc
checking for library containing getaddrinfo... none required
checking getaddrinfo bug... buggy
Fatal: You must get working getaddrinfo() function.
or you can specify "--disable-ipv6".
How to overcome this. Plz help me asap.
Advance thanks.
sha.
