I use netgroups as one access control method. We happen to have a large
number of systems that access our NFS servers, so the netgroups are large as
well. We break them up into subgroups since you cannot have a group larger
than 1024 characters. Just ran into something very odd. We have a subgroup
named "g_106" which causes the makedbm operation to fail when the NIS maps
are generated. If we rename it "g_106a", it works fine.
Any ideas what in the world is happening? Is this possibly a bug in
makedbm? Thanks!
