hi all,
i facing some a problem in connecting to the server. We have a workstation
in our subnet of servers, I am able to connect to all servers in the same
network from the workstation expect one server, from the server also i
couldn't connect to the workstation. But the workstation or server is able
to connect to other servers and workstations in the network at the same
time.
We have dns setup and we have NIS .This problem occurs intermittently.
I tried using ip to ping without using name resolution but still i couldn't
ping. I deleted the arp entry both on server and workstation and tried, then
also it is not working.
But after sometimes i am able to connect to the server from the workstation.
please throw some light on it.
