Hello all:

In AIX I have a script that send me the different errors that appear
in the errorlog. In AIx there is an utility errpt that give me all the
errors with some information, like uerf in Tru 64. I want to send by mail
the different important errors that I have in my HP-UX machines, but in HP
the errors are in the syslog log file, and is very difficult to send a new
entry by mail. Because of that I have thougth to separate the emerg, alert
and crit errors to other file and send the new entries in this file by mail.
Is it a good idea? Is there other thing that I could do ?

TIA.
