Hi Admins,
We have approved a HP rp2470 for a new project. The server was ordered few
weeks ago and the vendor has made a mistake with the model numbers and
ordered HP "rp2405- 2 ways" instead for the HP "rp2470" that we have
approved for the project. According to HP sales team the two servers are
identical (?) and they have the same HW specifications except that "rp2405"
is 2 inches wider.
So would anyone out there please advice about the advantages and
disadvantages of "rp2405" over rp2470 server and also about whether shall
we insist on getting what ever we have ordered initially.
