Sorry for the mis-understanding about 8 chr limit ..
Actually 8 Chr limit is for Non Trusted systems .Where
as Trusted systems can take more than 8 chr . ( max
80)
So if a Non trusted user has 10 chr passwd , it will
check only for the first 8 chr . last 2 chr will not
be checked . whatever you enter for last 2 charector
will be taken .
Ffter you convert this system to trusted mode , it is
going to verify all 10 chr .
