Hello Admins,
I have an LVM problem, this is my situation:
Logical volume /dev/vg01/lvol1 is extended from 5 Gb to 7 Gb. However the filesystem was NOT extended yet. At this moment I have greater need for the 2 Gb I gave to lvol1, in another lvol. So I want to reduce lvol1 back to 5Gb.
Lvol1 has 1250 PE on disk /dev/dsk/c6t0d5 and the 500 PE on disk /dev/dsk/c6t0d4. What should be the syntax of the lvreduce command in this case?
# lvreduce -l 1250 /dev/vg01/lvol1 /dev/dsk/c6t0d4 ??
# lvreduce -l 1250 /dev/vg01/lvol1 /dev/dsk/c6t0d5 ??
# lvreduce -l 1250 /dev/vg01/lvol1 ??
Thanks in advance,
Arie Beuker.
