[HPADM] Is ANSI C required for good Oracle performance ?

I see that Oracle actually links its executables using the installed cc
after the install.

If the HP's ANSI-C compiler kit is not on the system, it uses the bundled cc
and I get warnings such as
(Bundled) cc: warning 480: The +O2 option is available only with the
C/ANSI C product: ignored
(Bundled) cc: warning 480: The +Omultiprocessor option is available ...
(Bundled) cc: warning 480: The +Oentrysched option is ...
(Bundled) cc: warning 480: The +Onolimit option is ...
(Bundled) cc: warning 480: The +ESlit option is ..
(Bundled) cc: warning 480: The +Olibcalls option is ..

How does not having an ANSI compiler affect the performance of Oracle on
HP-UX 11.00 ?
(Oracle 9i Release 2)

Appreciate all your help.

Thank you
Subu
