Hi all,
I would like to obtain the ID of machine 9000/785 HP-UX 11.00 by using the
command "uname":

# uname -a
HP-UX hp05 B.11.00 U 9000/785 2013012412 unlimited-user license

My question: How to obtain the ID machine under form of 8 characters (hexadeci?)
like ffffff46d1 instead of the number 2013012412 ???
