Well as usual, this list proves to be a valuable asset. Many thanks to many
people. Apps developed on a 32 bit system will run on 64 bit system (as I
thought) with little to no issues, but as always, testing will only be the
real way to verify it.
Cheers,
Jim

Subject: [HPADM] 32 and 64 Bit
Ok fellow admins, I have a simple question that I'm sure I know the answer,
but wanted to run this past the guru's of the world.
Will an app that has been compiled on a 32 bit machine running 10.20 or 11.0
run on 11.i? I have a customer that is buying an A box that will run 11.i,
but he will be doing all of his coding and compiling on an old D or K box
running 10.20 or 11.0 at the 32 bit level. Since 11.i is 64 bit, is there
any concern about him running these complied apps on his A box?
I think it will be fine, just want to get a sanity check.
Cheers,
Jim
