TEAM:
We are working on a product from BMC SA in we have a
GUI which invokes our adduser (the one we developed)
script which completes the user addition. When we
encounter error conditions in our script eg: - "Login
id already exists". We would like the script to return
an exit code along with a text message to the GUI.
However, we were not able to return a text message as
exit returns only an integer value as status. We tried
the echo using case statements but it does not work.
How is it possible to achieve this? Please advice.
