Thanks to everybody who responded to this.
There were over 30 responses!
In general, nobody was having a problem running a master NetBackup server
on an HP-UX system.
People were running version 3.x to version 4.5 of NetBackup on many
different hardware models.
Some were running HP-UX 10.20, 11.00, 11i.
The consensus is the Veritas sales rep is not telling us the whole story.
Thanks for all the input. I'm sure this will make our backup team more
comfortable.
