[HPADM] tcp/ip timeout with ndd / nettune

Hallo,

On Hp-ux 10.20 I want to decrease the time-out period when connecting
(by "telnet") to another host which is not reachable most of the time.

I tried to use the tool "nettune" but I cannot find the correct nettune
parameter.

If I used HP-UX11.00 I would give it a try with:
ndd -set /dev/tcp tcp_ip_abort_cinterval
but the ndd-tool is not available on HP-UX10.20 and using "nettune" I
could not find a parameter resembling to "tcp_ip_abort_cinterval"

Do you know a solution?

Thank you very much for your help.

Andreas Fischer
