Is anyone using this config or something resembling it?
OmniBack 4.1
cell mgr on HP 11.00 server
Solaris 7 client
HP SureStore 20/700 library
SAN-attached Ultrium drives
-according to the latest 4.1 support matrix, SAN-attached Ultrium drives on
a Solaris client are supported. And backups will work. But here's problem.
As long as the backup doenst reach the end of the tape, it will rewind and
eject normally. If it happens to get to the EOT ,the backup aborts. It
leaving the tape abandoned at the EOT. All the ultrium drives are at the
latest firmware. And the sun client is well patched. Any tips to resolving
this would be greatly appreciated.......
