Hello everyone
I have a strange problem with sar.
I've run sar for a few days with the command
sar 60 10000 -A -o file
Then i stopped sar. When i try to run sar on the same
machine again (sar -q -M -f file) everything works fine.
If i try it on a different machine (actually tried 2
different machines) it lists only ~10 lines, not in correct
format and then creates a core dump.
The files are not corrupt, i copied them back and forth
and it always worked on the original machine.
The releases are B.11.00 A on one server and B.11.00 E
on the other. Could this be a problem ?
I also tried to analyze the files on linux but only get an
error message saying the file is not in the correct format.
Thanks for any hints,
Ralph
