Hello,
I solved the problem by adding the following lines to /etc/X11/X0devices
and restarting the Xserver afterwards.
> Begin_Device_Description
> Name hp7lc2k.1
> Use Keyboard_Exclusive
> Path /dev/hid/kbd_000
> End_Device_Description

> Use Pointer_Exclusive
> Path /dev/hid/mouse_000
