Hi;

The liste of people and the answers is too much big for me to remember evey
body, so thank you
very much about your diag and analyse.

However here what did I do whit one of my host dedicated to test.

        1: create a new lv and mount /Usr ==>/dev/vg00/lvolx
        2: cd /usr ; find . | grep -v lost+found | cpio -pudlmv /Usr
            3: change fstab to point en new usr (/dev/vg00/lvolx)
            4: reboot
All goes fine.

I did the same on my prod host.

Here the question
I want to extend my /usr en remote server. My prbleme is that I can't use
single user mode because I will lost my
connexion(excced client).

Is there any way to used init command to stop all user process whithout
losing the network.

However, if you have any others solution to extend /usr whithout used on
ligne JFS.

Cordialement(Best regards)
