[HPADM] ignite recovery on different hardware

I am scheduled to perform a disaster recovery next week, and the production system has been upgraded, but the restore hardware has not. My root volume group is 2 18 GB discs, and my hardware for restoring has 4 9 GB drives for the root vg. Can I do this? What steps are required in recovery?
