SAs:
I have a 10 Gig Filesystem which is 99 % full. I
may have to wait for a couple of days to have the DBA
clear up some space and bring it down to atleast 90 -
95 %. In the meantime I was wondering if there are any
work around to increase this filesystem. I used fsadm
with these options and got the following error
message:
(root):/tmp/sw:# fsadm -F vxfs -b $((1024*12253)) /u05
vxfs fsadm: /dev/vg01/rlvol6 is currently 10240000
sectors - size will be increased
vxfs fsadm: write failure at block 8370686 : No such
device or address
I havent seen this no such device or address error
message before. Do I have to try this command only
after I have brought the present usage limit to 90 or
95%?
Thanks in advance for all your responses.
NEIL
