[HPADM] Performance Tuning Question.

Folks:

We've been using a third party tool for
performance monitoring a D Class machine. (We dont
have glance installed here). This 3rd party tool keeps
complaining that the "amount of time that the number
of paged out virtual memory pages was greater than
the Limit per second threshold". It says that it is a
serious problem.

Here is a snapshot of my swap space on the BOX:

(root):/:# swapinfo -fdmrt
Mb Mb Mb PCT START/ Mb
TYPE AVAIL USED FREE USED LIMIT RESERVE
PRI NAME
dev 1204 236 968 20% 0 -
  1 /dev/vg00/lvol2
dev 2000 237 1763 12% 0 -
  1 /dev/vg01/lvol2
reserve - 563 -563
total 3204 1036 2168 32% - 0
  -

Is there anyway I can tune this box for better
performance.? Is there a kernel parameter which would
make a difference? I have no clue. Any inputs from you
would be most appreciated.

NEIL.
