Bill,

I think that did the trick. Thanks for the tip!! The importvg
looks like it does a lot of stuff, adding stuff to /etc/filesystems,
etc. The redefinevg was just what i needed, and seemed to work
fine. Now, should i run a synclvodm just to be safe?
