 Hi ,

Actually, i want to implement source based routing (routing policies )on AIX
host.
i have already seen the document. According to the 'Linux Advanced Routing &
Traffic Control HOWTO' . it can be possible with 'iproute2' on LINUX.
Using that we can create "multiple routing tables" and depends on the packet
source address we can define routing policies i.e a set of systems can be routed
to one routing table and other set to the other routing table depending on the
packet source Address.

But, My requirement is for AIX. but, AIX doesn't support the
creation of multiple routing tables. As far as i know, There exists "single
routing table". u can add multiple routes with in a table using ' smitty route'.
but, u can't create set of routing tables. In this case, how can i achieve
source based routing on AIX host. is there any way to create 'multiple route
tables' On AIX. is there any public domain s/w available for AIX.

Regards

kiran
