VNC is pretty useless in this case. I'm trying to get away from having to
chain ssh session through multiple machines as well as having to play all
sorts of games to get files transferred around. I _can_ do it, but it
gets really tedious. A VPN with all of the machines on one virtual
network would make life much easier. Among other things, it would be
practical to use apt/yum for updates on the Linux systems.
